Dr Haris Noor joined the team at Botanical Gardens Health in February 2017, having been working in the Bendigo region since 2013. He has worked at Bendigo Hospital in various specialty areas and also at the Connolly Rehabilitation Unit at Castlemaine Health. Dr Noor enjoys all aspects of medicine with special interests in child and adolescent health, men’s health, aged care, acute medicine and emergency care, mental health, preventative health, and therapeutic procedures including injections and minor skin surgeries . He worked as a Paediatric Registrar for 18 months at Bendigo Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, and Casey Hospital, caring for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents whilst completing the Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
When the opportunity arises in his free time, Dr Noor embraces his adventuring side and disappears to go camping, road-tripping, hiking, wake-boarding, or paragliding.
Dr Noor is now in his final year of GP training, in which he is required to work elsewhere for 12 months to gain his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and to complete the Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) through the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM). He intends to return to Botanical Gardens Health in early 2019.
